While I"m aware that laser printers are ideal for printing film positives, I"ve read they are achievable from Inkjet printers with some adjustments. I own an HP (wideformat) Designjet 70. Do I need to purchase rip software or would converting images to halftones in Photoshop be sufficient? What kind of vellum or film would be preferable and do I need to use a certain type of ink? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
